June Komar
Corporate Executive Vice President of Strategy and Administration
June Komar was named corporate executive vice president of strategy and administration in 2010, after serving as senior vice president, strategic planning and business development since 2002, and as vice president since February 1997. From 1994 to 1997 she served as director of strategic planning at Mercy Healthcare.
Ms. Komar oversees strategic planning and business development, government and community relations, marketing and communications, information services and Scripps Home Health Care Services, and has executive oversight for the administration of Scripps corporate services.
Prior to joining Mercy Healthcare, Komar served as deputy chief administrative officer for the County of San Diego for seven years and chief operating officer and interim CEO of the County of Washtenaw, Michigan.
Komar received a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State University and attended graduate school at the University of Michigan.
