Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and Scripps Coastal Medical Center are co-hosting a Wellness Day at our new primary care medical facility in Carlsbad. Free activities include:
- An opportunity to meet and get to know our physicians
- Health screenings
- The latest in health information and ideas to promote a healthier lifestyle
- Tastings from juice vendors, local restaurants and area stores
- Demonstrations on fitness and CPR
- Healing touch sessions
- Child ID booth, clowns
- Reusable “green” grocery totes (while supplies last)
- Scripps Home Health Care information booth
Program
- 8 a.m. – noon
Blood pressure, body fat, cholesterol and glucose screenings. Please fast 4 hours prior to cholesterol and glucose screenings, for best results. - 9:00-10:00 a.m.
