Nurse Educator
Within this role you will perform as an RN Generalist Educator in house wide staff development addressing the learning needs of nursing staff.
Plans, implements and evaluates nursing and hospital-wide education programs.
Assesses/teaches skills on designated unit and house wide as appropriate.
Teaches and/or coordinates orientation and in-service education for certified nursing assistants, RNs, LVNs, and support services staff on designated units and house wide as appropriate.
Participates in nursing and hospital-wide committees as a resource for standards of practice and educational needs assessment.

Nurse Educator-ED
Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of education programs for the Emergency Department. Provides unit specific orientation, continuing education, and programs required by regulatory agencies.
Acts as a resource for staff and participates in Collaborative Practice Decision Making.

Program Coordinator, Ongoing Education
Reports to the Director of Education with responsibility for planning, implementing, evaluating and coordinating services and activities associated ongoing and clinical staff educational programs.
Responsible for “just in time” education as well as developing, maintaining and evaluating ongoing competencies for all hospital staff.
Coordinates the certification requirements for clinical staff and serves as the expert validator for competencies related to clinical practice, skills and performance.
Serves as the coordinator of program design and oversight for hospital trials and in-services through the department of education.
Responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating and coordinating the clinical staff orientation program as well as the clinical skills lab oversight for training and maintaining staff competencies.

RN New Grad Coordinator
Responsible for coaching of New Graduate Registered Nurses regarding: 1) the nursing process, 2) accountability for the plan of care and patient outcomes, 3) communication and collaboration with all team members.
Functions as a clinical expert, role model, and resource.
Provides leadership for clinical initiatives, performance improvement, and other activities to improve patient care.
Works collaboratively with the Manager, Preceptor and, Educator to identify opportunities to develop both individual and collective nursing practice in a designated area.
