Course Overview

The Annual Brain Injury Rehabilitation Conference is designed to provide a clear understanding of the need for multidisciplinary strategies in the management of patients with brain injuries. A renowned faculty of interdisciplinary specialists will present the latest in research and outcomes from a variety of medical perspectives. A strong emphasis on the need for increased quality, efficiency, and value in response to health care reform will be a consistent theme throughout the course as we continue our quest for excellence in brain injury treatment and rehabilitation.

Conference Keynotes

Bob Woodruff author of In an Instant will be giving the keynote presentation on Friday, March 13th at 11:15 a.m.

Trisha Meili author of The Central Park Jogger: A Story of Hope & Possibility will be giving the keynote presentation on Saturday, March 14th at 8:15 a.m.

Main conference attendees are welcome to attend these keynotes at no additional charge. Guests that are not registered for the conference are welcome to attend either keynote lecture for an additional $35 each.

Saturday Concurrent Concussion Track (Space is limited to 90 people for this track!)

The concussion track is designed to educate and promote improved patient outcomes with regards to concussion patients. The course will be taught from variety of perspectives including that of the neurologist, primary care physician, and a neuropsychologist. Participants will learn what signs to look for when assessing a patient or athlete, the best way to manage a concussion, and when to allow a patient to return to normal activities.

If you are registered for the main conference, you can attend the concurrent concussion track at no additional charge but you must indicate you want to attend during registration. If you wish to attend just the concussion track, then the registration fees apply.
