Learn About an Implantable Treatment for Heart Failure
If you have a weakened heart or heart failure, a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) may be a treatment option for you.
LVAD is a mechanical pump that is implanted inside a person’s chest to help a weakened heart ventricle pump blood throughout the body.
To find out if you are a candidate, attend a free information session with a member of the Scripps LVAD team, which includes our cardiovascular surgeon and heart failure specialty physicians and nurses.
