Community-Based Health Care Program

The Scripps Family Medicine Residency program is a community-based, single-residency program dedicated to training competent, compassionate family physicians.

We are strongly committed to service for people and underserved communities in need through quality and responsible patient care.

Based at the Scripps Mercy Hospital in Chula Vista and the outpatient Chula Vista Family Clinic — with close ties to local community clinic systems — we have the privilege of providing health care for our diverse patient population in the underserved Southern California border community of San Diego.

Our residency program includes a group of residents, faculty and staff who support one another in our mutual goals of personal and professional development.
