Advanced Cardiology Fellowship Training in Heart Failure
Emphasizing both inpatient and outpatient care, the Heart Failure Program provides a year of advanced training to help cardiologists develop superior expertise to diagnose and manage advanced heart failure. Fellows also receive expert guidance on the role devices play. Although not a transplant program, trainees participate in the process to select patients for transplant consideration.
Clinical research is an integral part of training. Fellows learn all aspects of the process, including protocol submission to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), abstract submission and manuscript development. Learn more about current clinical trials.
