Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship

Advanced training in micrographic and dermatologic oncology services

The one-year Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Program helps trainees master the complexities of Mohs and other dermatologic surgeries. Fellows learn Mohs laboratory procedures and prepare sections using both the fresh and fixed techniques.

Fellows may also participate in other dermatologic procedures, such as chemical peels, scar revisions, cosmetic procedures, podiatric surgeries, particle resurfacing, cutaneous laser surgery and leg vein procedures.

Trainees are expected to publish at least two research papers during their fellowship.

Completion allows fellows to qualify for membership in the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).
