The Leichtag Family Birth Pavilion at Scripps Encinitas is San Diego County’s first World Health Organization-designated Baby-Friendly birth pavilion, offering comprehensive, family-centered care for mothers and babies. Our “Baby-Friendly” designation ensures an emphasis on positive maternity practices, and breastfeeding support.

Our state-of-the-art imaging center offers mammography to detect the earliest signs of breast cancer, as well as bone densitometry (DEXA) to detect bone loss from osteoporosis.
