Pioneers in laser surgery

Established in 1982, Mericos Eye Institute and its medical staff helped to pioneer excimer laser eyesight correction. Mericos was one of 20 excimer testing centers approved for Food and Drug Administration clinical trials in 1991. Since then, our experienced ophthalmologists have performed thousands of LASIK and refractive procedures.
