Mericos Eye Institute

The Mericos Eye Institute offers the expertise and advanced equipment necessary to accurately diagnose and treat a variety of vision problems. Diagnostic procedures include:
  • Automated visual field
Automated visual field uses a computerized device to diagnose glaucoma and other ocular tumors as well as optic nerve and central nervous system disorders.
  • Ophthalmic photograph of the eye
Ophthalmic photography of the eye allows doctors to see the back of the eye and cell formation within the eye. Diagnostic procedures as well as treatment and surgery are recorded on film for review by your ophthalmologist.
  • Topography
Topography produces an image of the cornea similar to a three-dimensional map. The map allows medical staff to make important decisions about how to apply the excimer laser prior to surgery.
