Spiritual Care Services provides spiritual and emotional support for patients, families and staff, respectful of all spiritual beliefs, religious convictions and cultural practices. Scripps Mercy’s professionally trained chaplains, including both clergy and laypersons are available from 7 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. A chaplain can also arrange for a patient’s minister or rabbi to visit patients at the hospital. The Holy Family Chapel, just inside the main lobby, provides a serene environment for quiet reflection and private prayer.
