Scripps Clinic offers the latest minimally invasive procedures to correct a variety of gynecologic conditions—with less pain, smaller scars, and reduced recovery time. Our board-certified gynecologic surgeons perform the following minimally invasive services:

• Laparoscopic hysterectomy
• Surgery for urinary incontinence
• Endometrial ablation for heavy periods
• Essure® procedure for female sterilization

Many of these procedures can be completed on an outpatient basis at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla or at our ambulatory surgery center at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley. In certain cases, our minimally invasive procedures can be performed in the physician’s office.
