Scripps Genetic Testing Study Featured in San Diego Union-Tribune

The San Diego Union-Tribune chronicles the personal stories of three Scripps Health employees who are taking part in the Scripps Genomic Health Initiative. The landmark research study aims to find out if people who undergo personal genetic testing will take steps to improve their health through diet, exercise, medical screenings and other means. The 20-year study is sponsored by Scripps Translational Science Institute and is co-sponsored by Navigenics, Inc., Affymetrix and Microsoft Corp.
