Scripps Cares for Hit and Run Patient

January 23, 2011

While riding his bike with a friend, Heath Bernstein was struck by a hit and run driver in Carlsbad, California. Suffering multiple broken bones, Bernstein was brought to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for care. Soon, he will be transferred to Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas where he will receive rehabilitation further treatment for his injuries.
