Findings to Guide Program Development

Scripps Health has a long history of responding to health needs in the communities it serves. The 2013 Community Health Needs Assessment will help provide guidance into the future.


Using hospital data, community input and health statistics, the new report identifies and prioritizes the top health conditions in San Diego County. Scripps Health uses the findings to guide its community programs and to meet the IRS regulatory requirements for nonprofit hospitals — which call for a health needs assessment once every three years.
