Patient Satisfaction

We are committed to continually improving patient satisfaction at Scripps. We constantly seek feedback from our patients and their families in order to improve the overall patient experience.

Patient surveys are sent to every hospital inpatient, and sent to randomly-selected outpatients from hospitals and clinics.

Patient Satisfaction measures we provide on this site include:

  • Percent of patients that rated the hospital a 9 or 10 (0-10 scale with 10 being highest)
  • Percent of patients that answered “Definitely Yes” to the question, “Would patients recommend the hospital to friends and family?”

About Patient Satisfaction Surveys

We use a variety of surveys to track patient feedback and gauge how we’re doing. One of our most important ways of collecting patient feedback is a post-care survey administered and mailed to patients’ homes by Press Ganey. Read more.
