Guy Curtis, MD, PhD

Guy Curtis, MD, is a cardiologist with expertise in cardiac electrophysiology and director of the cardiac electrophysiology department at Scripps Clinic. His clinical interests include control and treatment of atrial fibrillation; implantable device therapy for pacing and control of malignant arrhythmias; and the integration of ablative and drug therapies to control arrhythmias.

In addition to his clinical practice, he leads a group that focuses on the cardiac causes of fainting spells and lightheadedness. He also has a long standing interest in congestive heart failure and drug therapy for high blood pressure that is difficult to control.
