Rachna Jafri, MD
Dr. Jafri is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a physician in the Division of Family Practice. Prior to joining Scripps she successfully practiced medicine for more than ten years and maintained very high patient satisfaction rankings. Dr. Jafri’s special interests include women’s health, adult and adolescent medicine, minor dermatological procedures and alternative therapies.
Dr. Jafri emphasizes good quality medicine and the psychosocial aspects of the patient’s well-being. Her practice style includes spending time with patients and emphasizes continuity of care for the entire family.
Dr. Jafri graduated suma cum laude with a double major in biology and chemistry from Houston Baptist University. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and completed her residency at the University of Texas, Houston where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Jafri has been involved in various refugee care efforts throughout her career and is fluent in Hindi.
