Kiat Lim, MD

Dr. Lim obtained his Medical Degree from McGill University, in Montreal, Canada, in 1978. He then subsequently served his internship and residency training in OB/GYN also at McGill University. In 1979, while on faculty at McGill University, Dr. Lim was recruited by University of California at San Diego School of Medicine, where he joined the full time faculty as Assistant Professor of Reproductive Medicine. During his first year at UCSD, he was awarded the Joseph M. Diddio Memorial Award, given out annually for excellence in teaching. At the end of 1981, Dr. Lim started his own private practice in OB/GYN in Del Mar. Despite the present climate of health care in San Deigo, he has managed to continue with his rare solo practice in his chosen field of OB/GYN.
