Christopher Marx, MD

A member of the Division of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Dr. Marx attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He completed his internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois. He returned to San Diego in 1987 to complete his fellowship in diabetes and endocrinology at Scripps Clinic and has remained on staff since 1989. Dr. Marx is board certified in the specialty of Internal Medicine and the subspecialty of Endocrinology and Metabolism. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society, and a charter member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He is a fellow in the American College of Endocrinology. Dr. Marx spends his free time gardening, playing piano, collecting sports memorabilia and brewing beer at home. The Marx family also enjoys cooking, camping outdoors, and nature walks in Rancho Penasquitos preserve.
