A member of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Scripps Clinic La Jolla, Dale Mitchell, MD, is a graduate of the Georgetown University of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the US Naval Regional Medical Center in San Diego. He served as head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Branch Hospital Adak, Alaska and also on the teaching staff of the Naval Hospital San Diego. Currently, Dr. Mitchell is chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Scripps Memorial Hospital in San Diego.
