Biography:

Dr. Parker received his D.O. degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri and his undergraduate degree in biology from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. He served a rotating internship at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida and a fellowship in sports medicine at the San Diego Sports Medicine Center.

Dr. Parker is certified in family practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice and in primary care sports medicine by the American Osteopathic Association. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Osteopathic Association and the San Diego Osteopathic Medical Association, and is the current president of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine. Dr. Parker holds faculty positions at the University of California San Diego and San Diego State University. He serves as team physician for San Diego State University Varsity Athletics and is the former team physician for the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Volleyball Olympic Teams, the San Diego Gulls, and the San Diego Soccers.
