Lila Schmidt, MD

Specializing in gynecology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Lila Schmidt, MD, provides general gynecology care with specialized training in PMS, menopause and infertility, including IVF.

Dr. Schmidt is fellowship trained in the operative specialties of infertility, from advanced operative laparoscopy to advanced endoscopic surgery. She is widely published in the field. One of her most noteworthy studies on fertility and sterility is now considered an industry standard. She is also distinguished lecturer at universities and frequently provides television interviews.

Dr. Schmidt has a particular interest in maximizing personalized care of each and every patient. As such, you have 100 percent of your care is provided by Dr. Schmidt with no handing off to other care providers such as physician’s assistants or nurse practitioners. Born and raised in Arcadia, Dr. Schmidt is married to a native San Diegan, and has a child with the help of infertility therapy (IVF). She enjoys cross-stitching, snow-skiing, dancing, is active in her church, and MadCaps (Mothers and Daughters Club Assisting Philanthropies).
