Jo Ann Stewart, MD, specializes in geriatric care, specifically post-acute hospitalization. In addition, she has special interests in dementia and community services for geriatric patients.
Dr. Stewart believes in treating each patient as an individual and giving them the respect and consideration they deserve. She spends time with each patient, learning about their unique situation, in order to develop a personalized treatment plan. She also believes in open communication and involving all members of the care team, including family members.
When she is not caring for patients, she stays busy raising her two young children. She also enjoys cooking, playing the piano and violin, running, playing tennis, writing and travelling.
