Biography

John “Randy” Swartz, MD, provides comprehensive primary care, focusing on geriatric medicine and psychiatry. In addition, Dr. Swartz serves as the director of the curriculum in behavioral medicine and geriatrics for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista.


Throughout his career, Dr. Swartz has served with the Indian Health Service in Alaska, New Mexico and Belize. Well-read and well-published, he is a key component of the family medicine residency program.
