Lokesh Tantuwaya, MD
Dr. Tantuwaya received his medical degree in 1992 from Northwestern University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. He completed internships in surgery and interventional neuroradiology at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Medical Center and residencies in neurosurgery at UCSD Medical Center and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Certified in interventional neuroradiology, Dr. Tantuwaya’s areas of specialty include minimally invasive and complex spine surgery and skull base surgery.
Throughout his career, Dr. Tantuwaya has been an invited speaker at medical conferences and has co-authored numerous scientific articles on topics related to neurosurgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Tantuwaya speaks Spanish and Hindi and his personal interests include triathlon, skiing, sailing and tennis.
