John Thompson, OD

A member of the Division of Ophthalmology in Torrey Pines, Dr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) in 1975 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the School of Optometry at the University of California at Berkeley in 1979. He has been practicing Optometry at the Scripps Clinic since 1982 and has been Head of Optometry at the Clinic since 1994. Dr. Thompson practices general optometry with a special interest in contact lenses.
