Robert Varney, MD
Dr. Varney received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 1979. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the Tulane Unversity Medical Center in 1983 and became board certified in Internal Medicine.
He then entered training in Radiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and was board certified in 1986. He completed a fellowship in imaging and interventional radiology at the University of California Medical Center in 1987, and until 1989
was on the faculty at U.C.S.D.. He then entered private practice with LJR Medical group.
Dr. Varney has received Certificates of Added Qualification for the subspecialties of Vascular/Interventional Radiology, and Neuroradiology.
