Christopher Yokoyama, MD

Internal medicine specialist Christopher Yokoyama, MD, feels that building rapport and creating trust with his patients is extremely important and allows him to develop lasting relationships.

Dr. Yokoyama feels strongly about practicing preventive medicine through early cancer screening, smoking cessation, weight loss, and aggressive modification of cardiovascular disease risk factors, such as diabetes, hypertension and elevated cholesterol.

Prior to his medical training, he received a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego in physiology and neurosciences, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, skiing and tennis.
