Dr. Alanis-Amezcua has been practicing medicine since 1995 and was board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology in 1997. Dr. Alanis-Amezcua received his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 1981. He served his internship specializing in Surgery at the University of Illinois Metro Group Hospitals and served his residency specializing in OB/Gyn at the University of Chicago Lutheran General Hospital.
Dr. Alanis-Amezcua served his Galloway Fellowship in Gynecology/Oncology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
