Michael Beaumont, MD

A gynecologist, Michael Beaumont, MD, provides the full scope of gynecologic care, including well-woman services, pap smears, management of breast issues, contraception and cancer screenings. In addition, he has a special clinical interest in the following:

  • Chronic pelvic pain
With a focus on endometriosis and interstitial cystitis as common causes, he provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to treatment.
  • Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
  • Management of menopause
Working together with his patients, he is able to guide them through various options, and come up with an individualized plan of management for each patient.

Dr. Beaumont thoroughly listens to his patients’ symptoms and concerns before deciding on a diagnosis and treatment plan. His approach to treatment is conservative and based on each individual patient, including offering medical management over surgical interventions when possible. When surgery is necessary, he usually opts for laparoscopic (minimally invasive) or vaginal approaches, which can result in shorter hospitalizations and a more rapid return to normal activity.

In his spare time, he enjoys exercise, reading, and travel – especially cruises. He also particularly looks forward to time spent with his wife and family, including his five grandchildren.
