Edward Ferrer, MD

As a family medicine specialist, Edward Ferrer, MD, provides comprehensive primary care with a special interest in treating adult chronic diseases, minor surgeries and joint injections.

He believes that knowledge is power and seeks to provide his patients with the tools necessary to take charge of their health.

Dr. Ferrer is a former Marine Corps infantryman and participated in Operation Desert Storm in 1991. His four years in the Marine Corps is what actually influenced him to become a physician. He attended the University of California, San Diego where he met his wife, Dr. Sanaz Majd. They now share a panel of patients as a team so they can take turns caring for their identical twin toddlers. In his spare time Dr. Ferrer enjoys watching soccer, listening to Spanish rock, drawing and dancing with his daughters.
