John Marino III, MD

John Marino, MD, provides comprehensive primary care and treats a variety of conditions, from the common cold to complicated chronic medical conditions in adults. As a general internist he is the coordinator of the patient’s total care and can refer to an outside specialist when needed.

Dr. Marino was a member of Alvarado Medical Group, which is now a part of Scripps Coastal Medical Center.

Dr. Marino’s goal is to keep his patients as healthy as possible to ensure that they have the best quality of life. He also stresses preventive care and encourages lifestyle modifications as a form of disease prevention.

In his spare time he enjoys road and mountain bicycle riding, skiing, hiking, travel, fly fishing, following his son’s college tennis team and photography.
