Ryan Grover, MD
Ryan Grover, MD, has extensive experience with proton beam radiotherapy: a complex and highly technical tool that enables him to deliver precise radiation treatments to cancer cells and minimize the damage to surrounding normal tissue.
As a radiation oncologist with expertise in proton therapy, Dr. Grover is well qualified to treat any site of the body. However, he has given particular focus to the treatment of the central nervous system, head, neck and prostate cancer.
His research focuses on the optimization of radiotherapy delivery techniques, specifically the use of proton therapy to make cancer treatment more comfortable and effective.
To effectively guide patients through treatment, Dr. Grover feels it is important that he and his staff understand the unique needs and expectations of those in their care. He also feels that everyone deserves to be treated by a knowledgeable professional with focus, dedication and compassion.
When he is not caring for patients or conducting research at Scripps Proton Therapy Center, Dr. Grover enjoys short espressos and long walks with his family.
