In practice since 1994, Azar Bastanfar is a nurse practitioner, providing care to women from puberty to post-menopause. In addition to general women’s health, she has special clinical interests in contraception, painful periods, abnormal uterine bleeding and vulvar disorders. She also cares for obstetric (OB-GYN) patients, including providing prenatal care and education.
She believes in taking the time to listen to her patients. She also thoroughly answers questions, addresses any concerns and understands the importance of good follow-up. She values the relationships she has built with her patients and treats them as though they are part of her family.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, sewing and gardening.
