Raspberry Sauce Video

For a romantic treat, dress up any dessert with this versatile homemade raspberry sauce. Pair this low calorie, fat free raspberry sauce with chocolate sorbet, low fat brownies or crepes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pt fresh raspberries
  • 2 Tbsp confectioners sugar
  • 3 drops lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp kosher or sea salt

Directions

  1. Place raspberries in a bowl. Sift confectioners sugar on top. Addlemon juice and salt. Pour into a blender and purée untilsmooth. Strain raspberry mixture through a fine sieve, anddiscard seeds.
  2. Keeps refrigerated for up to 1 week. Reheat in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring as needed.
