Teriyaki Turkey Burgers Recipe

Try this teriyaki turkey burger recipe for a delicious change from all beef patties.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. extra lean ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup baby portabello mushrooms, minced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 Tbsp steak seasoning
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Teriyaki sauce
  • 6 slices, low fat cheddar cheese
  • 6 light, whole wheat hamburger buns

Directions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium high heat.In a large bowl combine first seven ingredients.
  2. Form meat mixture into 6-4oz patties.
  3. Place patties on grill or skillet cook until light brown, about 8 minutes.Flip burger and cook additional 6-8 minutes.
  4. Place cheese and desired condiments on bun with burger. Enjoy!
