Low Sodium Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 5 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups low-sodium ketchup
  • 2/3 cup cider vinegar

Directions

  1. p>Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil over moderately high heat. Cover pan and simmer gently for about 1-1/2 hours until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator. Makes about 2 cups.
