Honey Braised Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Don’t confuse this delicious side dish with the dinners of your youth. The honey glaze and crunchy walnuts adds new dimension to this old healthy standby.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen Brussels sprouts, thawed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp light trans fat free margarine
  • ΒΌ cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Directions

  1. Thaw Brussels sprouts and then steam until heated through.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, add together honey, margarine and walnuts.
  3. When margarine is melted, add in Brussels sprouts and toss until completely coated. Serve hot.
