Focused on wellness for moms and babies
Scripps neonatal and childbirth programs pride themselves on being a special place for moms and babies. We focus on providing a range of services and resources to meet prospective moms’ many needs, both medically and practically. From parenting classes to lactation assistance, Scripps staff partner with moms for wellness before, during and after delivery.
Scripps hospitals employ a multidisciplinary approach to pregnancy, delivery and the postpartum period. Physicians, nurses, lactation specialists, nurse-midwives, childbirth educators, home health experts, registered dietitians, social workers and respiratory care practitioners all work together to provide comprehensive care.
In addition to our childbirth services, Scripps offers a physician referral network, high-level prenatal and neonatal care, baby hearing screenings, infant nutrition information and a range of classes. Our staff’s sensitivity to each mother, baby and family goes hand-in-hand with our leading-edge diagnostics, treatments and facilities.
