Scripps Center for Organ and Cell Transplantation

Established in 1990 as San Diego’s first liver transplant program, the Scripps Center for Organ and Cell Transplantation performs life-saving transplant procedures for patients in southern California and beyond.

Our team treats adult patients with acute and chronic liver failure as well as complex hepatobiliary disorders such as liver tumors, hepatitis C, biliary stricture and portal hypertension. Our program also helps reduce our patients’ time on the transplant waiting list by coordinating and performing liver transplants from living donors.

If you would like to become a candidate for a liver transplant, please call us at 858-554-4310 or fill out the Transplant Candidate Application (PDF, 47.6 KB) and Transplant Contact Form (PDF, 20.9 KB) and fax to 858-554-4311.
