With five acute care hospitals, more than 30 outpatient clinic locations and our home health care network, Scripps Health has a variety of positions available just about everywhere in San Diego County and beyond. So no matter where you are (or where you’re headed), you’ll find career possibilities nearby, at Scripps.
Highly regarded physicians. Outstanding clinical research. The latest in medical technology. Our hospitals have led the way for years in the advancement of medical practice and in patient care. Our accolades speak volumes and come from both the patients we serve, as well as our medical colleagues. If you’re looking for an exciting environment where you’ll have a chance to make a difference every day, we invite you to join one of the world’s leading hospitals — at Scripps.
Scripps has more than 20 outpatient clinics where you can provide patient care in a unique setting and develop one-on-one relationships with patients. The Coastal and Clinic teams are both committed to providing high quality, patient-oriented care. Our employees have the unique opportunity to form long-standing relationships with patients and their families. If you’re looking for a collaborative, patient-focused environment, we’re looking for you.
Home health allows for patients to be cared for in an environment where they feel most comfortable — their own home. Scripps Home Health employees are able to take advantage of a challenging, flexible and more independent position while providing patient care that encompasses the “whole” person, including their home, their family and their community.
If you’re looking for a career with a lot of autonomy and strong management support at a place that celebrates who you are and keeps quality patient care at the forefront of everything you do, we’re looking for you.
Scripps Hospice is committed to providing compassionate hospice care to patients with a serious life-limiting illness. We also coordinate hospice care with other programs at Scripps, including home health and palliative care services.
Designed to help reduce patients’ physical pain and emotional suffering, hospice care is available to those who have made the decision to manage their pain and physical symptoms without seeking curative treatments.
We work as a team to provide medical care that not only brings patients comfort, self-respect and dignity, but also provides emotional, social and spiritual support for their family members.
There are several other positions that are also vital to keeping an organization of our size running smoothly. An integral part of each of our facilities, Scripps also employs people in more than 15 career areas other than those typically defined as a “health care,” including finance, information technology, human resources, marketing and supply chain. They’re all critical to our mission, and they represent opportunities for those who are looking to create a better future for themselves and others.
Fun, challenging and welcoming, Scripps Health Administrative Services (SHAS) is constantly looking for strong contributors to our team. Even though the size of our organization is remarkable, our employees say Scripps has a family atmosphere supported at every level — from leadership on down.
