If you’re concerned about developing type 1 diabetes, join us for this unique event featuring TrialNet screening.
TrialNet screening reveals if you’re in the early stages of type 1 diabetes. With early identification, you can take positive steps to help change the course of the disease. People in the early stages of type 1 diabetes can be closely monitored and may be eligible to take part in TrialNet studies, which test ways to slow or stop disease progression.
A simple blood test can identify five autoantibodies that signal an increased risk of type 1 diabetes. These autoantibodies may show up years before symptoms of diabetes appear.
Anyone between the ages of 1 and 45 with a sibling, child or parent with type 1 diabetes; or anyone between age 1 and 20 with an aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, grandparent or half-sibling with type 1 diabetes.
Following the screening, stay for a special seminar dedicated to just type 1s. Get the most leading-edge information and updates surrounding type 1 medications, therapies and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Cost to attend the seminar (after this free screening) is $5 at the door. (Parking is an additional $4.)
