This unique educational series is designed for people with liver and kidney disease. Open to the community, it features a monthly guest speaker and a variety of health topics.
The lecture is followed by individual support groups for liver and kidney disease patients and their families. The goal is to help participants better manage their health, cope with the stresses associated with the transplant process and provide updates on treatment advances.

The first speaker for 2017, Dr. Irwin Goldstein, is without question the leading researcher and practitioner of sexual treatments for men and women in San Diego. He is a board certified urologist, a nationally recognized pioneer and leader in the field of sexual medicine. He also founded San Diego Sexual Medicine at Alvarado Hospital.
Scripps welcomes Dr. Goldstein to address this important topic scientifically, medically and with candor. He is an impressive individual and engaging speaker.
