Getting Ready for Baby (1 of 2) - Campus Point/UTC
Caring for your new baby
Caring for your new baby
This is the first session of a two-part class that will help new parents gain skills for caring for their newborn.
This first class covers holding, bathing, diapering, swaddling and comforting a newborn. Please bring a doll/teddy bear, blanket and diaper for practice with swaddling and diapering.
The second class is taught by a pediatrician. Important facts will be discussed regarding newborn care, appearance and characteristics. Information on community resources is also included.
Both parents are encouraged to attend both sessions.
Please note, this two-part class takes place at two different locations on varying days. Each class is $15 per couple.
Why do I need to register?
Pre-registration allows us to reserve your space and contact you in the event of a change in the time or location of a class or on the rare occasion that we have a class cancellation.
Please remember, we cannot guarantee accommodation for walk-in participation at our classes, screenings and programs and cannot be responsible for any inconvenience due to lack of registration.
