Course Overview
HELPING BABIES BREATHE® (HBB) and ESSENTIAL CARE FOR EVERY BABY® (ECEB) are part of the Helping Babies Survive® evidence-based educational program which focuses on care of the newborn. HBB focuses on newborn resuscitation in resource poor areas in the first Golden Minute. ECEB focuses on care after birth throughout the first day of the newborn’s life, until the time of discharge. The combined courses will equip health care providers with skills and tools to make changes and improve care in global areas with high infant mortality and low resources.
