In this two-day, 12-hour course, participants learn to recognize and intervene in respiratory failure, shock and cardiopulmonary failure in infants and children.
The student will learn to manage core cases through small-group case-based teaching. Students will be provided with information regarding the recognition of and interventions for respiratory failure, shock and cardiopulmonary failure. Successful completion of this course will be achieved when participant demonstrates proficiency in skill stations and a score greater than 84% on the written exam.
This course is appropriate for those with a current PALS card as well as those who are seeking the training for the first time.Course dates
The course meets from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm on the first day and from 8:00 am – noon the second.
