Scripps MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Clinical Hematology & Oncology Conference 2022, is designed for hematologists, oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, internists, and others desiring an update in these specialty areas. The primary objective of this course is to bring together clinicians and leading experts in diverse areas of hematology and oncology, affording them an intimate environment in which to discuss new clinical developments and significant advances.
After attending this live activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the clinical and molecular facets of pathogenesis, diagnostic approaches and therapeutic modalities available for various hematologic disorders.
- Select and apply the changing approaches to hematologic malignancies, particularly as they relate to evidence-based standards of care, including innovations in diagnosis and treatment.
- Choose new therapeutic options for the treatment of a number of common malignancies; understanding appropriate indications and contraindications to these therapeutic approaches.
- Integrate the evolving approaches to breast cancer from both a diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic perspective.
- Integrative the evolving approaches to various immunologic cancer treatments.

ABIM MOC Points
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Cultural & Linguistic Competency and Implicit Bias
This activity is designed to include curriculum addressing the topics of cultural and linguistic competency (CLC) and implicit bias (IB) in compliance with California Business and Professions (B&P) Code Section 2190. All those involved in the planning and execution of this activity have been asked to identify and discuss issues relevant to the topics being covered. In addition, a variety of resources are available that address cultural and linguistic competency and implicit bias. A resource document can be downloaded from the Conference Details section above.

The course tuition is refundable, minus a $100 processing fee (MD, DO, RN, PA, NP) or a $50 processing fee (Fellow, Resident, Student), if your cancellation is received in writing no later than Friday, February 4, 2022. Attendee substitutions are allowed, but notification must be made in writing by Friday, February 4, 2022. After this date, under no circumstances will refunds, credits, or substitutions be granted. No refunds or credits will be given to “no shows.”

The course tuition is refundable, minus a minus a $100 processing fee (MD, DO, RN, PA, NP) or a $50 processing fee (Fellow, Resident, Student), if your cancellation is received in writing no later than Friday, February 4, 2022. Attendee substitutions will not be permitted. Friday, February 4, 2022, under no circumstances will refunds, credits, or substitutions be granted. Failure to log-in to the live virtual broadcast will result in complete forfeiture of conference registration fees. Virtual conference participation is limited to the paid registrant only. Log-in information is unique and cannot be shared.
Family / Guest Attendance Policy
All conference activities are exclusively reserved for paid conference attendees. Children and family members are not allowed to attend meal functions or permitted in the general session room.
Scripps Conference Modification or Cancellation
Scripps reserves the right to modify the course’s schedule or program as necessary. Scripps also reserves the right to cancel this conference, in which case a full refund of the registration fee will be provided. We are unable to refund any travel costs (flight, hotel, etc.) in the case of Scripps cancellation.
