The Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program at Scripps Clinic is a three-year program accredited by the Accrediting Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) that trains top candidates to become leaders in cardiovascular care. Scripps graduates have a 100 percent pass rate on the cardiology board exams.
The program equips fellows to excel in clinical cardiology, research and translational medicine. Fellows master all aspects of general cardiology, and also develop their own clinical emphasis. The program provides on-site training in both inpatient and outpatient care.
In addition to the excellent clinical training, fellows conduct rigorous, basic and clinical research at Scripps Health, The Scripps Research Institute or one of our other world-class basic biomedical research facilities, such as Scripps Translational Science Institute, the Scripps Center for Genomic Medicine and the West Wireless Medicine Institute.
